Briana Dunkin
Principal—Designer
Briana is an all-in creative spirit who enjoys bringing design visions to life and building client relationships. She designs to fit clients’ cultures and brands while creating unique environments that push the limits of design. Her favorite color changes daily, although today she’s partial to Sherwin Williams Cyberspace and colors you can’t even classify—grayish tan, anyone?
Stephanie Burkhart
Studio Director / Senior Project Interior Designer
Stephanie loves sharing her envisioned designs with the world and appreciates the unique privilege of seeing her work come to life. She enjoys the current oversized lighting trend—the bigger the better!—and treats lighting as a design jewel, adding sparkle to a space. In between raising her two growing girls with her husband, she can always find time to read a book and is also a certified podcast junkie.
Kaitlyn Barrett Deter
Studio Director / Senior Project Interior Designer
Kaitlyn knew she wanted to be an Interior Designer since the fifth grade and hasn't waivered since. As an equal right brain/left brain, she firmly believes that less is more and when given the chance to choose, she will always choose black. When she isn't fully immersed in all things Interior Design, she hangs with her hubby and her two fur babies Olive and Onyx.
Adrienne Evans
Marketing + Client Experience
Adrienne's enduring love for design has deep roots, as she was immersed in art from a young age. She firmly believes in the transformative power of space and the built environment to cultivate positive energy and happiness for others. When not joyfully chasing after her little ones around, Adrienne's creative spirit guides her to practice calligraphy, empower women in their faith journeys and seek the next adventure with her hubby.
Sarah Furore
Senior Project Interior Designer
Sarah, born and raised in Leland Michigan, realizes her love of Tetris as a child now fuels her desire for creative, yet efficiently designed spaces. She visualizes each space as a puzzle, determined to find the most seamless solution. Outside of design, you'll find her planning the next adventure with her husband and son, hanging with friends, cooking, crafting or enjoying the great outdoors!
Chris Spurgeon
Project Interior Designer
Chris is a proud Hoosier, born and raised in Indiana. Transitioning to life as a designer after her first real job, Chris discovered the perfect alignment between her career and passion, as her love for beautiful homes and functional floor plans was matched only by her equally strong passion for people. Chris loves spending time with her hubby & two girls, enjoys reading, hiking, swimming and hanging with friends. She’s a color girl (over neutrals) every single day of the week.
Lydia Walker
Project Interior Designer
Lydia joins us as a recent graduate with a great love for design. Inspired by beautiful designs in nature, Lydia first spent time focusing on residential interiors and is now narrowing in on commercial interiors as she joins our passionate team of designers to serve companies through the art and science of design. In Lydia’s free time, she cooks with her hubby Ryan, and volunteers for her church.
Cortney Florkowski
Project Interior Designer
Cortney has a deep love for art, architecture and interior design. She spent several years working in residential interior design and in her free time she loves spending time with her family while hiking, camping and visiting the beach. She pulls inspiration from traveling to new places and likes to incorporate character into designs with a mix of classic and unique touches for a timeless look!
Sarah Scott
Junior Interior Designer
Sarah's appreciation for design blossomed in an entirely new light after attending Miami of Ohio. As a recent newlywed and certified plant enthusiast, she relishes every opportunity to expand her collection. Additionally, she finds joy in capturing the essence of spaces and places through photography, engaging in house projects, and cherishing quality time with loved ones.
Madi Niswonger
Junior Interior Designer
Madi is a University of Kentucky graduate who instantly gravitated towards a creative atmosphere so that she could positively affect people and change their environments for the better. Her favorite interior trend is natural wood tones with dark accents to create a moody ambiance. In her free time, Madi enjoys meeting with her bible study group and spending time with her husband and adorable pup.
Wendy Creech
Operations Manager
Wendy is an operations-focused real estate professional who is passionate about meaningful workspaces. She is detail oriented and has a strong love for art and design, stemming from her inspiring grandparents. In her free time, you’ll find her spending time with her family or perhaps in new-found hobby of golf, which is both challenging and rewarding!
Mike Dunkin
VP of Technology Development
Mike’s engineering mind is detail-oriented and highly organized; which we all admire. Although he is a wickedly talented techy, he is truly a jack of all trades, as his previous work experience included engineering and finish carpentry. A natural homebody and family man, Mike loves solving problems, organization and architectural design, especially when it’s functional and purposeful.
Maribeth Brennan
Bookkeeper
Maribeth appreciates design’s ability to transform a house into a home. In fact, she came to Parallel after working with one of our designers to create a comfortable space for her first home. She loves the color grey in design, especially the newer warmer oatmeal color that’s trending and claims her home will be in trouble when she stops liking grey!
