Challenges
  1. Challenge: Salty Environment

Float spas consist of a very dense salt bath and as the warm water evaporates, salt collects on all surfaces. We carefully chose materials to withstand the tricky environment such as epoxy flooring, solid surface shower surrounds, and easily wipeable areas for extended durability.

  2. Challenge: Imagine the Experience

A Place to Float desires its clients to have a complete sensory deprivation experience surpassing all others. To achieve this, we thoughtfully planned the client experience every step of the way alongside A Place to Float’s team. Plush furniture, chaise lounges, and textured carpeting create a luxurious backdrop while creative lighting solutions provide a gradual transition back to “reality.”

  3. Challenge: Functional Design

Design and project teams worked side-by-side to ensure the design complemented the required space functionality and that all behind-the-scenes spa components worked seamlessly. Varied materials were purposefully selected for both aesthetics and functionality within the unique warm, salty environment.

Testimonial
Working with Parallel Design Group was one of the best decisions we made. Not only were they able to meet—and exceed—our expectations, they were able to keep us within a reasonable budget. I highly recommend and will work with again.
