Challenges
  1. Challenge: Updating Office Floor Plan

To create a more open and collaborative atmosphere, we eliminated segregated offices to make room for updated workflow needs. New collaborative spaces were designed with upgraded technology and comfortable yet professional furniture to enhance communication throughout the office. Blue's brand and core values come to life amidst the fresh decor and pops of blue.

  2. Challenge: Natural Light

With a high priority for window-lined offices, much of the natural light could have been trapped creating a dark office interior. We placed transom windows along exterior offices to radiate natural light into the interior office space. A casual collaboration area spans twenty feet along large, exterior windows, bringing in a flood of natural light.

  3. Challenge: Bridging the Generational Gap

The design needed to satisfy the requests of the partners—consisting of mostly baby boomers—while attracting the incoming talent of a younger generation. Simply stated, we strived to create a professional and timeless space without feeling overly traditional or modern. For example, a centrally-located cafe with table, booth, and bar seating draws employees of all ages.
